                               RESOLUTION NO. 20934
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
                  CHANGE ORDER NO. 1, CONTRACT NO. P-1-96,
                  BITUMINOUS PAVEMENT REPLACEMENT, WITH VULCAN
                  MATERIALS, WHICH CHANGE ORDER INCREASES THE
                  CONTRACT AMOUNT BY TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND
                  DOLLARS ($200,000.00) FOR A REVISED TOTAL
                  CONTRACT PRICE OF ONE MILLION, SEVEN HUNDRED
                  THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,700,000.00).
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of Change Order No. 1, Contract No. P-1-96, Bituminous
       Pavement Replacement, with Vulcan Materials, which change order
       increases the contract amount by $200,000.00 for a revised total
       contract price of $1,700,000.00.
